Den Information  (Dens are groups of scouts separated by grade level)

Lions (Kindergarten)

Tuesday, 6:30-7:30; Faith Lutheran Church

The Lion Den is comprised of the youngest scouts in the pack. This program is designed to be completed as a group but with each scout participating with a caring adult. Activities are designed to teach basic scout and outdoor skills as well as to develop physical fitness, empathy, and community awareness.

Tigers (1st Grade)

Tuesday, 6:30-7:30 pm; Faith Lutheran Church

Similarly to the Lion Den, the program is delivered as a group but with each scout participating with a caring adult. The Tiger Cub Scouting program includes adventures that include outdoors skills, games and sportmanship, community building, good nutrition, and more.

Wolves (2nd Grade)

Tuesday, 6:30-7:30 ; Faith Lutheran Church

The Wolf Den continues the scouting journey with emphasis on personal fitness, awareness of outdoor safety, communication, and duty to God and Country. Wolves are encouraged to develop their ability to lead others, such as in reciting the Scout Oath and Law and they are introduced to scout skits, jokes, and songs that they perform for their fellow scouts.

Bears (3rd Grade)

Monday, 6:30-7:30pm; Faith Lutheran Church

The Bear Den begins to delve more deeply into scout skills, including hiking, camping, and safe pocketknife usage. Bears also complete adventures dealing with inventing and building, wildlife conservation, community building, cooking, and safety. A number of elective adventures allow the Bears to choose additional topics to explore.

Webelos (4th Grade)

Tuesday, 6:30-7:30pm; Faith Lutheran Church

Webelos (an amalgam of "We'll Be Loyal Scouts") and Arrow of Light (AOL) scouts is a two year program that teaches the essentials for cub scouts crossing over into Scouts BSA after 5th grade. Webelos adopt the Scouts BSA uniform and begin to demonstrate leadership, responsibility, additional community awareness, and more advanced scout skills.

Arrow of Light (5th Grade)

Alpha Den: Sunday, 5:30-7pm; Faith Lutheran Church

Bravo Den: Tuesday, 6:30-8pm; Faith Lutheran Church

Arrow of Light scouts continue the Webelos/AOL program, completing additional adventures that further the aims of cub scouting. Along the way, AOLs improve on their personal fitness, leadership, scout skills, and communication. At the completion of the scout year, AOL scouts earn the Arrow of Light and are invited to cross over to a Scouts BSA Troop where they will begin their journey toward the Eagle Scout rank.
